| Mistakes *cause everyone makes mistakes* *If Muggle objects do not work in Hogwarts then why does Colin Creevy's camera work? There are also various other things like their watches that work too... *Wizards and witches that are not of age are not allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts. But how come in The second movie- "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"- Hermione is able to mend Harry's glasses when he returns from Knockturn Alley. | Hi. I`m from Russia and my English isn`t very good. Excuse me for my not nice English. What about mistakes-I think that Kolin`s kamera can not work in hogwfrts. | Isn't his camera a 'magical camera'? Where the picture moves? That would work in Hogwarts. And I think just FAN is right. They can't use magic in the Muggle world but they can use it in Diagon Alley. | |||

| *eye twitch* *grumbles* We can not believe the movies for ANYTHING! *spasm*spasm*spasm* Colin's camera...didn't he say that there was a special spell or processing to make them move? He said something like that when he showed Harry the picture of Harry and Lockhart in COS and Harry was glad to see he was trying to get away from Lockhart. *shrug* As for spells outside of school, I've wondered. Hermione fixes the glass of the train door in the fourth book. | allyru, thanks. All films in many places aren`t correspond books. and I can say that the third film wasn`t based on a book at all,because there are very many differencies between them. So, I think we must trust J. Rowling in all such controversial moments. | |||

| yes, it wasn't the camers that was magical, it was the solution in which the film was developed...at least that was my understanding. The obvious mistakes I know are the ones that JKR pointed out. | I hate to say this but I think the 7th book will be the last for the series. I don't know what I'm gonna do after that..  As for the mistakes, Hogwarts starts on September 1 every year and the next day is always Monday.
