16 years ago. And I'm glad it was Dame Maggie who got cast for this role. McGonagall is definitely a fan favorite.

Yes, him, Remus & James. They did bully Snape. But like I said, Snape didn't do anything about it either. He never spoke up about it or never told anyone because he keeps to himself. I think because James is Harry's father and both Sirius & Remus are his friends kinds of casts a 'positive spin' on them inspite of the mean things they did in Hogwarts.

Good question. I'd like to believe he did but seeing Harry made him remember all the things they have done to him when he was a student. But he didn't hurt Harry, he protected him even if seeing Harry reminded him of James. His love for Lily still overpowered in the end.

One of my favorite bits from McGonagall in GoF.
