Added you both!

The Malfoys are definitely a different kind of family. Yes they weren't the perfect family but they love and respect each other. I think in DH when they walked away it was them walking away from everything and starting anew. In my head canon, I'd like to think Lucius & Narcissa lived a simpler & quiet life. I'd say the same for Draco, Astoria & Scorpius too.

Countess. - You're welcome.

Yeah I agree. I do like the Weasley family. It was great to see them so close and loving and what little we saw of the Potter family was great too. And the other families also had interesting things about them but for me it's the Malfoy family that is the most interesting. Admittedly my first interest in them has a lot to do with Draco himself and me wanting to learn more about him but the dynamic of the Malfoy in general made me want to know more about them as a family.

Thanks Linds.

I agree. I think when they walked away they wanted to live a quiet life away form it all. Deal with the aftermath and pick up the family.

Exactly my thoughts. We don't know that much about the Malfoys and that's what makes them mysterious, complex and interesting.
Sometimes I think Lucius would have preferred a 'normal' life and sometimes I feel quite sure that he regrets the decisions he made when he was younger and Voldemort was at the crest of his power. And he loves Narcissa, unlike Voldemort's image of lifestyle.

I so agree.

I'm not sure if in the beginning he would have preferred it. But I do feel as time wore on he did. And it was very noticeable in the last two movies. I think by then he was over it all and saw how deranged and hypocritical Voldemort really was.

I think so, too. It couldn't turn out well because Lucius and Voldemort were too different from each other. And I wouldn't describe Lucius or any of the Malfoys as 'evil'. Lucius is someone who's made a wrong decision when he was young and green. And over the years the whole family became entangled.

I can't see the pic you posted and the link is broken too.

I agree girls, well said. Later in time Lucius saw the horrors of what it's like being Voldemort's ally. He probably wanted out of it but it was too late. That shot of the family walking away for me is how they should end everything. He definitely made the wrong choices but it's all for the benefit of his family.

It's not available anymore, not even on the website. I called it several times but it's gone. All of the other pics are still there

That is awesome, Nadine. I wonder if it could've been different for Draco if he had siblings?

That is really awesome. Wow!

Linds - I wonder about that too. Like would Draco have felt less pressure to follow in his dad's footsteps with siblings or would he have felt more and etc.
