you know, i didnt read fic at all until my friend showed me some really good ones- i didnt want anything that didnt happen in the book. Then I became addicted and all hell broke loose. I'm going to be reading book 6 and thinking, wait that's not what's supposed to happen...or thinking that something that didnt happen already did. It's vicious.

I am really sorry but this is your last chance to get this thread up and running. As you know we are monitoring the 'shipper threads and there have been no posts in this thread for 14 days.  Haven't been by the HP board much lately. But over on the Howler thread, there was discussion about whether or not Remus would ever be truly happy, since he's had such a sad life so far. I myself am hoping for yes , and I pretty instantly thought that it would be great if he had that happy life with Tonks. Because I really think that Tonks would be so good for him.  Not long now until the new book comes out!  I'm hoping for some good tidbits of Remus/Tonks interaction, even if it is just in the background. After all, my first HP ship was Fred/Angelina, and all I needed to get that going was Fred asking her to the Yule Ball.  Regarding the conversation suggestions: Remus would be a great father, of course. We've already seen that with his interactions with Harry. My first impulse would be to think of him as the stricter parent, but I'm not sure that would necessarily be true. Either way, I'm sure the kids would probably get in quite a bit of mischief (look at the other members of the Order who they would have to look up to ). What would Tonks cook for him? I just keep picturing her in the kitchen, knocking things over and making a mess. But hey - maybe Remus will cook for her. __________________
