 As you know we are monitoring the 'shipper threads, because we do not want dead 'shipper threads lying around the board. This thread has had no posts since February 4th. So, on the Howlers thread we were discussing what types of hobbies and interests Remus might have (specifically, we've been talking about the types of books he likes, as reading seems to be something we see Remus doing much of). Which kind of ties in with my ealier post about what types of activities Remus and Tonks would do together.
Exactly what do you see Remus and Tonks doing on dates together? Or how do you think they would actually end up on a date together in the first place?  Would Remus actually ask her out? Would Tonks have to be the one to make the first move? Or would they get manuevered into it somehow by outside forces (Harry or the other kids wanting the two of them to have some fun)?__________________

I think Tonks would have to make "the move" he's probably too afraid of rejection given, his condition and his previous experiences which i'm sure have been negative in the most part

I'm hoping that they'll be canon in the books. Although realistically speaking, I'm not sure how much detail we'll get about it. The books are about Harry. They tell his story from his point-of-view. Still, we could get little bits and pieces about Remus and Tonks in the background, and that would make me happy.

Well, I think some of us, me including, accepted the idea that this thread will die =/
I'm very fond of Remus and Tonks, separated and as a couple, but I must confess that I don't know what to talk about them, mainly because I'm not excited about this ship as I am about my other ships. But hey, perhaps that's just me. Still loving R/T, though. ^^" __________________
