I feel so stupid for thinking that it was Ian playing DD because of the trailer. Than just remember that nope its not him because he was in LOTR

lol you thought it Ian, actully I remember wanting him to take over the role after Harris' death, but he said ' Harris and I hated eachother so it wouldn't be right for me to take over his role. Besides why would I want to play Dumbledore? I got to play the original'. lol so i was like okey dokey....fair enough lol.
Another who i just recently thought would also make a good dumbledore if we didn't have gambon for some reason ofcourse is peter o-ttole. __________________

yea i heard someone mention it on the peter o-toole board at imdb and i was like 'that would really work'. Good actor and he was friends with Harris.

though Michael Gambon's brilliant, i still prefer Richard Harris. Peter would've been great!

Have you seen Peter lately? Yikes, his days have past. And he's so fragile now. I can't imagine him doing what Dumbledore has to do in HBP. It's too intensive and requires alot of stamina which I don't think Peter has anymore. Let him rest, he's done his masterpieces.

lol actually I think he look's allright, I mean Harris was very fragile as well but amazing. However Peter wanting to rest (which i doubt - he has a lot of movies in the pipeline) now thats something totally different - if thats the case then yea I agree he should chill out. Anyway no point in duelling we have Gambon who looks like he's gonna do an brill job in HBP.

yeah, even if Peter's too old now, i still think he'd play DD well. he obviously can't do some of the stuff that DD's required to do in HBP. but nevertheless, Michael's brilliant.

lol I hope we're not dissapointed now with all these high hopes - it did look really good in the trailer though (his performance).
