I think he'll continue to be Headmasters at Hogwarts and die of old age (for wizards, whatever that age is).

HAHA, you mean retire? I always picture Dumbledore to be the type that loves to teach so he'll do it for as long as he wants and be Headmaster for as long as he wants until he's too old and can't do it anymore, in which case, he needs to retire and step down.

We never did find out who replaced Dumbledore for Headmaster when he died right? I can't seem to remember.

We did get some backstories in the books but that wasn't enough. Dumbledore has a very interesting life that is yet to be explored.
