I know. And yet some say its a children's series. So much of it, especially with Tom's backstory and how he propelled his life as he grew up, can be dissected by any age and still be interesting. That's why the books will outlive us all.

Voldemort's killing of Muggle-borns, it sounds a lot like ethnic cleansing. How much of the series is a political metaphor? J.K. Rowling: Well, it is a political metaphor. But … I didn't sit down and think, "I want to recreate Nazi Germany," in the-- in the wizarding world. Because-- although there are-- quite consciously overtones of Nazi Germany, there are also associations with other political situations. So I can't really single one out.

It is very interesting and remarkable how she thought of all this writing the books. Not only is it personal for her but the book is littered with things in life she has opinions of. I also remember the talks before about religion in the books.

I guess it's because it's probably my least favorite book I don't find the main storyline that interesting. I appreciate it more now because of the Horcrux plot, but as a stand alone story I thought it was the least interesting one out of the books and movies.

I understand. Mine would have to be OotP. I don't know why, I did like the idea of the whole Dumbledore's Army but overall I wish there was more to this book. Plus I was upset about Sirius' death. I did like the book for Luna.

My fave book for Voldemort would still be GoF. Damn.
