| Although I have a fascination for Draco and Ginny, I do believe this ship will at one point be cannon. And I certainly do not think that's a bad thing at all! I found that scene with Luna way in the begiining, the infamous "I'm nobody" scene quite telling. And then the heroics Ginny inspires in Neville...  I'm telling you people. | Oy! Please add me to this list! I love the coupling of Neville/Ginny because I know they will get together at the end of book seven. How do I know you ask? Well, first of all, Harry and Ginny will happen and it will be serious (for Book 6 and half of 7 -- my interpretation of symbolism in OOTP, that I am positive is correct, ).However, Harry will realise who he really loves ***coughHermione*** and Ginny will realise who she really loves -- Neville. So let's break it down: ~ Ginny has had a crush on Harry and will think she's in love with Harry; however, if she's not meant to be with Harry, who is the next best canadiate then? ~ NEVILLE! Why? 'Cause, remember how similar we learn the two boys actually are in OOTP? ~ Further proof: I will eventually post in essay form on another forum (H/Hr), as I seem to be the only one who has noticed but here it is: *** Early in OOTP, Sirius tells Harry in Ch.6 The pure-blood families are all interrelated,' said Sirius. Tf you're only going to let your sons and daughters marry pure-bloods your choice is very limited; there are hardly any of us left. Later, at the hospital we get an interesting introduction between two parties: Neville with his Grandmother and Harry/Hrm/Ron/Ginny. Neville's Grandmother automatically knows that Ron and Ginny are Weasleys due to the red hair. She says, in Ch.23: 'And you two are clearly Weasleys,' Mrs Longbottom continued, proffering her hand regally to Ron and Ginny in turn. 'Yes, I know your parents — not well, of course — but fine people, fine people… .....' WAIT! Stop the presses?!? Mrs Longbottom does not know the Weasleys very well? They're 'fine people', but Sirius said that most purebloods are all inter-related??? Could this suggest that the Longbottoms and Weasleys are NOT related? In five books, Ron has never suggested that he and Neville are related.... Just my interpretation and opinion...but it's odd that JKR chose to write that Mrs Longbottom did not know the Weasleys very well... __________________ Don’t worry -- I stop it.
