Harry Potter - Leos H/G: A kiss to build a dream on. Right Harry? *wink*

Welcome to the official Leo thread, formerly the Doppelgangers who's fans support the Harry/Ginny ship. We've updated our name so be sure to update your signature!

Our lovely new header created by the lovely ~Nicole~

The reason for the name change is due to the simple fact that most of us agreed that, although Doppelganger is unique, it doesn't suit our ship as much as it use to. With new evidence now to support H/G it was decided that Leo (astrological sign of the lion) is a great representation of Harry and Ginny.

1) Both are Leos: Harry was born on July 31st and Ginny was born on Aug 11th
2) Both are Gryffindor (Lions) students and quidditch team members
3) Both have firery spirits that seem to complement each other perfectly

If these don't say match made in heaven, then heaven must not exist.

Our title was inspired by this passage in HBP (chapter 24):
Harry looked around; there was Ginny running towards him; she had a hard, blazing look in her face as she threw her arms around him. And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her.
After several long moments – or it might have been half an hour – or possibly several sunlit days – they broke apart. The room had gone very quiet. Then several people wolf-whistled and there was an outbreak of nervous giggling. Harry looked over the top of Ginny's head to see Dean Thomas holding a shattered glass in his hands and Romilda Vane looking as though she might throw something. Hermione was beaming, but Harry's eyes sought Ron. At last he found him, still clutching the Cup and wearing an expression appropriate to having been clubbed over the head. For a fraction of a second they looked at each other, then Ron gave a tiny jerk of the head that Harry understood to mean, "Well – if you must."
The creature in his chest roaring in triumph, Harry grinned down at Ginny and gestured wordlessly out of the portrait hole. A long walk in the grounds seemed indicated, during which – if they had time – they might discuss the match.

I think I spotted Ginny in the trailer based on the description that you Laura posted from mrswhatsit on the leaky board. I see a white dress and a pink sash. Her form is blurry but it looks as close to this description as we possibly can get...

You do see Ginny at the ball. I don't remember the exact details of her dress, but I remember it being a sleeveless, white, tea-length dress. It looked like it might have been made of tulle. There was a wide ribbon at the waist, but my mind is arguing with itself as to whether the ribbon was green or pink. It was a very sweet dress, pretty much in keeping with her image. Her hair was not up, it was down like she usually wears it. What I remember is her dancing with Neville--they looked like they were having a lot of fun.

Hmm I am wondering if that is Ginny. By the description of the dress and hair style, it most certainly could be her, but I can't tell whether I am looking at red hair or dark hair. But everything else matches the desctiption. So I am 80% sure its Ginny.

I love the title and the drawings!

I think it is Ginny. The dress matches the description really well and Bonnie's hair would probably look darker than it is if it's not in the light. And her hair is also down, which the reviewer did mention. I'd bet it is.

LOL, that pic of Krum twirling Hermione totally weirds me out. She's fourteen and he's eighteen! Has that ever seemed a bit wrong to anyone else?? LOL!

I'm right with you. It's does seem a bit odd. The age difference is dramatic. Not the number of years they are apart, because four years isn't close to being a big deal.. it's what ages they both are at... 14 and 18 are very different maturity levels.. It's weird that Krum would seek out a 14 year old if you think about it.. Having said that, we know Krum and Hermione had a very innocent romance, but still, the age difference bothers me a bit.

On the Everwood board, people were weirded out that Madison was 20 and Ephram was 16.. I think Krum being 18 and Hermione being 14 makes me more uncomfortable, and this is coming from someone that didn't particularly love E/M and their age difference.

oh yeah. That shot is very pervy. No Elizabeth you're not the only one that can see that.

Glad you agree about the shot guys. I know it's just a guess but since Ginny is a prominant secondary character she'd have to be one of the few standing infront of others. And if you squint you can even see the blurry form of Neville standing behind her and her left. At least I think it's Neville.
