Lol first thing I did when I saw that a clip had been shown was check youtube to see if anybody had uploaded it. Dang it!!

But the fact that it was a "brief" clip makes me think it wasn't much of anything. I also found it funny that the delegates share our annoyance at the lack of news.

If we could just get some pics of H/G cough in the next week I would be so happy!!

Even if it is a small clip, at least it's something! And if the delegates were displeased with WB's lack of promotion with this film, that's REALLY saying something!

The way it was worded makes it sound like a montage of all the movies put together, to sort of show Harry through the years, and they probably ended with something very brief on HBP.

Still... at least we know they showed footage somewhere! But I'm still amused the delegates were disappointed too. It really shows we're not alone.

WB's silence these past months can annoy anyone. The Delegates' reaction just proves that WB's being odd with the lack of updates.

Hopefully we can still get a H/G picture out of the montage.

Oh, kind of like the teaser trailer for GoF? Hmm... That's possible. Again, even if we did get something brief, it's something. Hopefully this means that the promotion for this film will actually START soon.

Exactly! At least we know footage is being showed somewhere and that this information is reliable because it's not coming from a sketchy source. And yeah, it's nice to know that we're not the only ones who thought that WB hopped onto the promotion bandwagon wayy too late!

Gean - I'd love it if we could get an H/G picture out of the montage! I doubt that we will, but one can certainly hope...

And official too, which is VERY exciting! I doubt there was anything H/G in the montage if it's as brief as they make it sound, it probably just focused on Harry (maybe the trio). But I am still hoping the teaser comes with TDK. I'm not giving up on that yet!

ETA: This montage thing was shown at the same place as that lame teaser poster, right? That's a good sign publicity might be about to start in some form, imo.

It is! Finally information from people who don't have their head up their butt! I'm not quite giving up on seeing the teaser with TDK either. I can just see that happening. And yeah, you're right any brief footage would be focused on Harry or the trio and what their adventure is going to be this time around. WB will have time to promote the romance later.

It is a good sign! This actually has me feeling optimistic!

We're all thinking that WB may be revving up for some real promotion soon!

I'm feelin' a little more optimistic - the promotion's gotta start sometime, and maybe that time is now!

Given this was an Expo for exhibitors I would be surprised if any of the small amount of HBP footage showed up on Youtube.

What I think it does mean is that they are close to releasing footage and that they will probably show something at ComicCon, as well as the possibility of some type of trailer with TDK.
