Leather Librarians: This name comes from things related to Hermione and Draco. Hermione, being the bookworm she is, spends most of her time in the library. Draco, is the bad boy whom we like to imagine in leather. "Don't you dare call Hagrid pathetic, you foul - you evil - " Hermione pulled out her wand. Malfoy stepped backwards. Crabbe and Goyle looked at him for instructions, thoroughly bewildered. "C'mon,” Malfoy muttered, and in a moment, all three of them had disappeared into the passageway to the dungeons. "What? Oh no!" Hermione squeaked. "I forgot to go to Charms!" "I don't believe it!" Hermione wailed. "Was Professor Flitwick angry? Oh, it was Malfoy, I was thinking about him and I lost track of things!" "Never mind, Ron," said Hermione quickly, seizing Ron's arm to restrain him as he took a step toward Malfoy. "Keep that big bushy head down, Granger," sneered Malfoy. "Just because they're not very pretty, it doesn't mean they're not useful," Hermione snapped. "Dragon blood's amazingly magical, but you wouldn't want a dragon for a pet, would you?" "You know perfectly well I only said that to shut Malfoy up," said Hermione. "As a matter of fact I think he's right. The best thing to do would be to stamp on the lot of them before they start attacking us all." "He could have really hurt Malfoy, though," she said. "It was good, really, that Professor McGonagall stopped it -" "Malfoy got Hermione!" Ron said. "Look!" "You're joking, Weasley!" said Malfoy, behind them. "You're not telling me someone's asked that to the ball? Not the long-molared Mudblood?" Harry and Ron both whipped around, but Hermione said loudly, waving someone over Malfoy's shoulder, "Hello, Professor Moody!" Malfoy went pale and jumped backward, looking wildly around for Moody, but he was still up at the staff table, finishing his stew. "Twitchy little ferret, aren't you, Malfoy?" said Hermione scathingly, and she, Harry, and Ron went up the marble staircase laughing heartily. ...Malfoy, and even he didn't seem to be able to find an insult to throw at her. | the title! I was just coming to say that Dragon's Bride was updated, but InannaGirl already did! I do have another fic to recommend though, The Bracelet It's AU 7th year fic and I love the author's set up - not a "D/HR suddenly realize they have feelings for each other" fic. In fact, it starts out kinda dark. | |||
