Oh dear, it's bad on social media right now. Can they just not put Johnny at the trailer anymore? No promotional pictures and he should not attend the premieres at least? I can understand why people are upset but what I don't understand is some people acting high & mighty & above Jo right now. This is bad press for a movie that we don't even have the trailer for yet.

It's messy right now. They've already wrapped filming so there's nothing that can be done unless they recast him for movie 3. Amber releasing a statement just added more fuel to the fire.

Again, they know more about the situation than general public do so obviously they have more information to confirm that it’s not just a black and white issue. There’s no reason in my mind to suggest that a previous victim of abuse and now a vocal advocate against violence against women would ever allow an abuser to continue working. This is why I support and respect Jo’s decision.

Social media trials and convictions should never be the barometer of someone’s career. Especially since most often then not we don’t have all the facts before the onslaught of opinions and judgements have already condemned them.

It’s not a rumour. It’s a settled court case where the two parties agreed on the outcome. We don’t know the specifics which Jo and the producers do. And because of that reason, I can’t side with the population that want to banish him.

By rumour, I mean, she has accused him of abuse, but there's a rather large chance that he accusation is false as the case was settled quite easily. If I had been abused i would never settle until punishment was served.

That's why I think there's a lot more we don't know and will probably NEVER know because the case was settled. So how can one make a fair judgment without knowing all the facts?
