And really, one of the most touching moments in the movie for me was the end part where Newt said that Jacob is his friend. Jacob looked like he was gonna cry.

Nope, in the real world silver is valuable right? It's used for jewelry, etc. So in the no maj/muggle world in HP, it's also just as valuable.

We're very similar to the muggle/no maj that Jo created in this world. They're very much unaware of magic. For all we know maybe magic is real but we were just all given spells so we don't remember them.
