Yeah I remember he didn't too. I was wondering if it's because Newt is pretty good at it that Jacob wasn't able to feel anything considering he's a no maj and would not react normally to being apparated.

He's still pretty much new to everything although come part 2, I assume he'll grow used to it. Especially as everyone else is a wizard and he'll be exposed to magic a lot from here on in.

Though I don't think Jacob is someone that will abuse magic. He's such a good person, there's literally nothing to hate about him. And as we saw in the movie, Newt slowly trusted him and I think by part 2, he'll 100% trust Jacob now.
