Eventually Jacob will learn how to deal with them and won't be needing all that protection anymore. Or maybe he still wears them because he's gotten used to it.

I just really want scenes with these two and the creatures. I feel like Jacob barely interacted with them in part 2 because there weren't a lot of focus with the creatures unlike in part 1.

Too bad but it would be safer (especially these days) to act with VFX but of course it's costly.

Plus I really want Jacob back inside Newt's suitcase. He seemed to enjoy being there with the creatures.
