It all started when Newt took that seat beside Jacob inside the bank.
 Jacob was nervous about his loan and Newt was distracted with the Niffler to really care about his dilemma.  __________________

I did miss the lighthearted moments from part 1, like the ones from Jacob and all the hilarious Niffler scenes. Those were the ones that I really enjoyed from the 1st movie.

They should! Plus Jacob seems to be enjoying being with Newt and experiencing magic. He also seems fond of Newt's creatures so there's that.
