I don't think he'll remember on his own except a certain situation or object triggers his memory back. That's why I'm interested to find out how he'll remember everything if a spell is used on him to help him forget.

I feel like there should be a counter spell for him to remember and he just can't normally remember on his own. Cause that would mean Queenie didn't use a strong enough spell to make him forget.

Yes, it's the Memory Charm. Hermione used it in DH when she, Harry & Ron were attacked in the diner. She also used that spell to make her parents forget.

I love what Dan said about Jacob. He's obviously the funny character (much like Ron) but at the same time, the saddest part of the movie for me was also due to Jacob.
