That's very true. Btw, did you like how the movies showed their friendship? I know there are lots in the books that were cut but for me, overall, I thought it wasn't too bad.

Er...To be honest, I didn't like it much. There were some good moments of course but my problem that I read the books before seeing the movie and i disliked how they portrayed their relationship. Alas, They polished Harry/Hermione friendship more

In what movies were you disappointed about how they didn't focus on this friendship too much? I like it generally, not like in the books but the ones that I did enjoy (that focused on their friendship) are SS, GoF & DH.

I think in POA and ootp.. What bothered me too that they turned Ron to just say jokes or to let us laugh. Ron is deeper than that.

Yup, we were complaining about Ron's portrayal in the movies (on the RHr thread) where he's mostly reduced for comic relief. He's certainly NOT that way in the books.

Awww, I love that.
Harry's got no one really. The Dursleys are the only family he's got but look how they treated him. The Weasleys are definitely more of a family to him than his real family.  __________________

 At the second task in GOF, Ron was the one who would Harry miss the most so they took him into the lake. I liked that indication __________________

Yes, I think that part in GOF speaks highly of their relationship. It's the best friendship written in the books, imo.
