Luna Lovegood:

1) "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure."

2) "I've been able to see them ever since my first day here. They've always pulled the carriages. Don't worry. You're just as sane as I am."

3) "Mistletoe," said Luna dreamily, pointing at a large clump of white berries placed almost over Harry's head. He jumped out from under it. "Good thinking," said Luna very seriously. "It's often infested with Nargles."

4) "Dad's reprinting!" she told Harry, her eyes popping excitedly. "He can't believe it, he says people seem even more interested in this than the Crumple-Horned Snorkacks!"

5) "When you say 'Sirius', are you talking about Stubby Boardman?"

6) "I think they think I'm a bit odd, you know. Some people call me 'Loony' Lovegood, actually."

7) "Have you ..." he began. "I mean, who ... has anyone you known ever died?"
"Yes," said Luna simply, "my mother. She was a quite extraordinary witch, you know, but she did like to experiment and one of her spells went rather badly wrong one day. I was nine."
"I'm sorry," Harry mumbled.
"Yes, it was rather horrible," said Luna conversationally. "I still feel very sad about it sometimes. But I've still got Dad. And anyway, it's not as though I'll never see Mum again, is it?"
"Er - isn't it?" said Harry uncertainly.
She shook her head in disbelief. "Oh, come on. You heard them, just behind the veil, didn't you?"
"You mean ..."
"In that room in the archway. They were just lurking out of sight, that's all, you heard them."

8 "I enjoyed the meetings, too," said Luna serenely. "It was like having friends."

9"People expect you to have cooler friends than us," said Luna, once again displaying her knack for embarrassing honesty.

10 "A Wrackspurt ... they're invisible, they float in through your ears and make your brain go fuzzy," she said. "I thought I felt one zooming around in here."

11 "Oh, hello, Harry," said Luna. "Did you know one of your eyebrows is bright yellow?"

12 "The Aurors are part of the Rotfang Conspiracy, I thought everyone knew that. They're working from within to bring down the Ministry of Magic using a combination of Dark Magic and gum disease."

13 "And that's Smith of Hufflepuff with Quaffle," said a dreamy voice, echoing over the grounds. "He did the commentary last time, of course, and Ginny Weasley flew into him, I think probably on purpose - it looked like it. Smith was being quite rude about Gryffindor, I expect he regrets that now he's playing them - oh, look, he's lost the Quaffle, Ginny took it from him, I do like her, she's very nice ..."

14 "And Harry Potter's now having an argument with his Keeper," said Luna serenely, while both Hufflepuffs and Slytherins below in the crowd cheered and jeered. "I don't think that'll help him find the Snitch, but maybe it's a clever ruse ..."

15 “Daddy, look—one of the gnomes actually bit me!”

16 "I've never stunned anyone except in our D.A. lessons," said Luna, sounding mildly interested. "That was noisier than I thought it would be."

17 “I'll distract them all," she said. "Use your Cloak." And before he [Harry] could say a word, she had cried, "Oooh, look, a Blibbering Humdinger!" and pointed out the window.

Um... I've never posted here before, but just to be clear, do we only vote between 2 quotes at a time? Like in this case, either 3 or 4.

Yes, that's correct. If # 3 wins, the next round is between 3 and 5, then if # 5 wins, round 5 is between 5 and 6. Whichever of the quotes gets 5 votes first, moves onto the next round. Understand?

And I'll also be voting for # 4.
