They weren't physically hurting Harry but they were mentally abusing him which is just as worse.

Which is still just as bad. And that fact that Harry IS family and yet they treat him that way. Not to say that if he wasn't family he should be treated differently but he's blood related so it's disheartening that the Dursleys are like that to him.

For sure. Sometimes I feel like Dumbeldore could've done something and not let Harry live with the Dursleys because they don't treat him any better. Yes they are family but does Harry really need to be there when they just abuse him?

Yeah, I agree.. Even tho I think that every other family aren't that perfect.. But they are flaw.. I mean..

Absolutely. A prime example are the Dursleys. All of them are against him and Harry is all on his own with no other family member to go to. JKR really meant for Harry to be alone all his life until he met Ginny and eventually married her and started a family of his own.

Plus he didn't grew up knowing about wizard world and I think that was the moment when he learned about it on his birthday and he has so many questions to ask.. Even tho if he knew, it wouldn't be same feeling like he just know already..

That's right. He didn't know because the Dursley's shielded him from that world because they refuse to acknowledge it. I'm glad Hagrid, Dumbeldore & McGonagall came through to let Harry know that the wizarding world exists and that his parents are wizards.

Yeah, that's why I feel like I can see him start to learn new world/new side that he never see until he was told..

I'd be the same too. And the Dursleys shielded him from knowing by hiding his Hogwarts letters so Harry had no clue until Hagrid came.
