Thanks for creating this

I think that as nasty as Malfoy has been throughout the books he in no way deserved that spell. It was reckless of Harry to have tried the spell and I am surprised that it actually worked on his first attempt. I am glad that Malfoy wasn't murdered othwerwise Harry would be in Azkaban.

Maybe not, because then Harry could of pulled up Malfoy's sleeve and showed his Dark Mark, if he had one and i'm almost sure he wouldn't of been sent to Azkaban for killing a Deatheater.

Death Eater or not Harry would still have been under the penalty of the law for murder. It is up to Aurors, the Ministry, and previosuly Dementors to handle Death Eaters, not students and everyday witches and wizards. Murder is still murder, no matter who is killing who.

I think Chapter 25 was the most intense chapter I have ever read. It's like you can feel something bad is about to happen but you don't know exactly what it is.

Wow, these Horcruxes sound so amazing. I can't believe Slughorn would actually give Tom Riddle all those details about them...what was he thinking? I'm glad we finally found out what happened to Dumbledore's hand. Nice use of the diary as a Horcrux thing as well. I always wondered how it was that Voldemort put his younger self into it, and now we know. I love how Dumbledore really made Harry think hard and understand about the prophecy, Voldemort, and how he has to use love to defeat him. That's what these lessons with the Headmaster are all about I think. DD imparting his wisdom on Harry.

So Draco was the one crying to Moaning Myrtle. I thought it might have been Neville, but this is an interesting twist.

Okay, not to say that what Harry did was right in using that spell but really he didn't know what would happen. Malfoy had been about to use an Unforgivable Curse on him and I think he just used what came to mind first in his own defense. And Harry immediately realized what a horrible spell he had just used. I was really shocked as it seemed as though Draco could have really died there.

Then the kiss.

Very great, I love impulsive Harry. Ron's reaction to H/G was really cute too. I know it's shippy but I loved the scene of the trio and Ginny talking about the tatoos and rumors.

They were so comfortable with each other, laughing and everything like their lives were normal for a few minutes there.

So Snape was the one who overheard the prophecy and told Voldemort about it, sending him to attack the Potters. That's horrible, no wonder Harry was so outraged by that. I'm with Harry on this one- I don't get how Dumbledore can be so sure Snape is remorseful. If he truly felt like that was the biggest mistake of his life he shouldn't be so horrible to Harry all the time.

But good for Dumbledore bringing Harry along with him to find the Horcrux. Harry needs practical experience as well for a well rounded education.

I liked that Harry felt he wouldn't need any Felix Felicis potion as long as he was with Dumbledore. So trusting.

I wish that J.K would've let us hear the talk between Harry and Ginny. I hope that if we don't have any scenes with just the two of them through-out the rest of the book, we'll get a fair amount of scenes from them in the next book

Hello HP Fans. I just wanted to touch upon the 'Harry is a Horcrux' theory. I can't possibly see Harry being one of the Horcruxes. Here is my reasoning:

* Let's say Vol- oops, I mean You-Know-Who, made Harry a Horcrux BEFORE he tried to kill him as a baby. Why would he try to destroy one of HIS Horcruxes?

* And obviously, he couldn't make Harry a Horcrux AFTER the Avada Kedavra curse, because he was next to nothing, and couldn't operate a wand.

* How could a tiny piece of Voldemort's soul be inside Harry's body, that is so full of LOVE, and protected by his mother's love?

* In OOtP, Voldemort posesses Harry, and according to the late Dumbledore (*sniff*), was in 'mortal agony' doing so, because of the LOVE that is inside Harry.

Therefore, it is HIGHLY unlikely that a part of Voldemort's soul could survive in Harry's body, which is full of the one thing that he cannot stand - LOVE.

Snoshy- those are are excellent points, thank you. I absolutely hate the theory that hArry is a horcrux. It's just wrong on so many levels. Your points completely make sense to me and ring true.

Thank you for your explanation on why Harry must not be a horcrux, as I too finished the book thinking there was a strong possibility he was one. But that was without thinking about it further.

And I too am still wondering about Dumbledore trusting Snape, I know everyone makes mistakes but I don't understand why he'd make one like that. No matter what Snape told him.

That's Dumbledore's only weakness.... Giving people second chances.

As for the Horcrux theory, upon finishing the book, I too slightly considered it. Luckily, my over-analytical brain was able to rule that out. It's nice to know that people share the same perspective.
