cool thanks for starting the thread Chrissy!

Felix Felicis
Ok.. hated all the fighting between Ron and Hermione. I just felt for Harry when he started to wonder if he would lose his best friend. That and Hermione cursing Ron! That blew me away. Any liking I had for them as a couple disappeared there. In general I found the whole chapter to be uncomfortable and odd. Maybe that is what she meant because teenage romances are never easy I'm not sure. But I was glad when the chapter was done.

The Unbreakable Vow

Found the whole part about the love potion over the top. I loved the Luna moments. She is great with her brutal honestly.

The party started out weird. I felt bad for Hermione.

The best part of this chapter was Snape/Draco talking. Malfoy has become such an interesting character. I wonder why he showed up at the party. I guess he feels like his family name should still be good.

A Very Frosty Christmas

I loved when Percy came into the house. It broke my heart to see Mrs. Weasley throw herself at him. I wish Percy would get over their fight. It hurts to see them so distant.

I'm certainly not a fan of the new Minister. I hated the fact he wanted to pretend that Harry was helping them with Voldemort. So cold and harsh. He doesn't care if Harry dies. I might not have been the biggest fan of Fudge but at least he pretended to care if Harry was hurt or not. Hated the fact that Umbridge was still in the Ministry. I lost all respect for the Ministry then.

I was glad to see Percy in the chapter, even if he said like...3 words. (Merry Christmas, Mother) and stood there awkwardly as the minister said how Percy wanted to visit his family. Damn that man. It's obvious that Percy didn't want to. Using him as excuse..I'm going to.. grr. I had a vipe that Percy wasn't too confortable around Rufus. But that's just me.

Nothing else to say (yet). I'm just glad we saw Percy, even if it's not much.

Well one of my favorite moments of the book was in Felix Felicis...Hermione telling Ron she was going to ask him to the Christmas party and Ron admitting he didn't want her to go with McLaggen. So sweet, even if they have a big row not long after.

Then you have the monster born in Harry's chest. That imagery really made me chuckle, I thought it was pretty accurate in terms of what he was feeling too. Finally Harry realizes Ginny's been right in front of him all along.

Moving along from shipping...brilliant move on Harry's part to fake the potion in Ron's drink. I was shocked that Harry would cheat like that and was really relieved to find out he didn't. Ginny flying right into Zacharias Smith was priceless.

I really felt awful for Hermione, she was so obviously heartbroken over Ron and Lavender. I was proud of Harry (a recurring thing in this book) for going after her and not just sticking to Ron's side like he did in PoA.

Harry taking Luna to the Christmas party with him was great! He's so nice to her, I'm glad they are still friends. She was so happy to be invited it was adorable. I love her enthusiasm.

I liked how Lupin told Harry all about Greyback. I wonder if they would bring up how Lupin was bitten. Percy's still a prat to his family. I loved Harry ignoring the Ministry like that. They've never done anything but cause him trouble and the new Minister is such a politician.

"Dumbledore's man through and through, aren't you, Potter?" "Yeah, I am." That really made me tear up.

Okay I'm never a huge shipper for this series, but Harry's feelings for Ginny are just too cute. I guess I like it so much because she had the huge crush on him in "CoS" and she's just grown up to be such an interesting character.

I honestly did not see him falling for Ginny, I noticed all the little notions towards him looking at her and being concerned for her, but I didn't figure he'd realize that he liked her for awhile longer. Nevertheless, I love it and I really hope it comes out before the end of the book since it seems like Ron and Hermionie are quiet cannon now. I don't hate them or anything, but I liked their banter much more than the fighting and obvious feelings that are flying around.

Harry's realization that he might loose his two friends if they break up was so accurate and something that I'm sure alot of people have had to deal with. I thought it was awesome characterization since they're pretty much all he's ever had in his life since coming to Hogwarts.

Fluer is just getting on my nerves, but I cracked up whenever Molly said that she and Ginny would be sharing a room, lol.

Oh and Percy came home! Yay for him. I liked how the kids were all cold towards him too.

I loved the Ron/Ginny fight, it was Hilarious. Especially when Ron said soemthing about him not snogging in front of poeple and her replying "So you've been kissing Pidwigion or do you have a picture of Aunt Muriel?" That was Hilarious. And I love how after the fight when Ron says "Do you really think Hermioen snogged Krum?" So great But then the whole Ron/Lavender/Hermioen drama that sucked and I felt bad for Hermione.

Felix Felicis
i loved what Harry did in thie chapter! he was very sly. i was very proud of Ron, espcially when we learned that he did it all on his own. the only downfall to this was the fight between Ron and Hermione. i really hope they make up soon.

The Unbreakable Vow
i really wonder what's going on with Draco. his whole situation is quite mysterious. and it's very intriguing to wonder how Snape will be involved in this.

i really liked that Harry asked Luna to the ball. she and neville kinda disappeared after the train, so i was happy to see her again.

it was also nice to see this "new"side of hermione about the party. i loved the way she mentioned that she was going with McLaggen.

A Very Frosty Christmas
Ooooo! i adored Harry in his talk with the minister! and i liked that we finally got to talk with Lupin. it's surprising to find out who turned him into a werewolf. his job with them does sound quite dangerous, though. i hope he'll be alright. and we see Percy again! i was very happy to see him visit his family. even if he was only there a few minutes, he was still there. i would like to know what he and the family were talking about while harry was outside.

also, not sure if it was ch. 14 or 15, but the whole thing with Ron and Lavender?!!?!?!? OMG!
<--- this is me, shocked out of my mind!!

I feel like I'm watching a soap-opera, I really do. I'm totally hooked.

I'm glad that JK has finally delved more into the romance of Ron and Hermonie, we've all known it was just going to be a matter of time before we saw the two hooking up, I just hope it happens before the book ends.

I'm actually looking foreword to more Harry and Ginny scenes--the couple is quickly growing on me during this book.

I don't know why but I'm starting to hate it everytime that Snape is mentioned in this book. It's like I keep wondering if he's really part of Voldemort's people or doing just as Dumbledore wants him to and is really against Voldemort. It's hard to tell at times.

I guess I'll pick up after school tomorrow. Going to bed now.

I think this is definately a good development. I'm loving this book too much. Lots of unexpected turns. I'm definately enjoying it so much more than what I thought.

I was so shocked at this happening. I was in the sofa with my sister, she's not into HP but I kept saying "This is happening. I can't believe this is happening". It's not that I was waiting for it histerically, or that I didn't want it to happen, it's just that I didn't thought it'd happen, at least not that soon. I know they just say this stuff and then they start fighting, but honestly I can't believe Rowling's writing this! (I still love it, though )

I thought Harry wouldn't have poured the potion, then during the whole match I kept thinking "damn Harry, you've done it", and there we had it.

I miss Lupin a lot I know he was in there, but that bried two-pages-conversation? Just that?! I wanted to see more of him.

I keep agreeing with you everywhere!

Percy coming home kept me like this : I just couldn't believe it. And I kept getting angrier once I realised he wasn't there because he wanted to. I just can't stand the fact he cannot accept he misses his family, because I am sure he does. Poor Mr&Mrs Weasley, Molly saying "Arthur! It's Percy" was very sad, specially since they obviouslt knew afterwards that he didn't want to be there.

And once again, I don't like the new minister at all.

It's like people will never get a chance to like Percy when he always shows his bad sides on the books (well, they're not bad to me, but some people tend to think like that). Rufus was using him to come there, just to talk to Harry. I would've been awkward too and say nothing if I was him.

I didn't like the Hermione/Ron fights, and Hermione cursing Ron is just so fake I've never liked this couple, but I was going to give Rowling a chance to develop a good love story for them because, obviously, they will end up together I think. But I'm not liking their story. Everything's too twisted. And I find Hermione very different from what I always thought her personality was. Now she is annoying (getting mad at Harry because she doesn't get full attention from Slughorn), she holds grudges for her friends, etc etc... I'm nto liking her in this book

I never liked the couple Harry/Ginny, but I'm loving the story Rowling is developing for them I'm so hooked up in Harry's romance that I can't wait for H/G scenes I never thought I would like this couple

I looove Luna now I've always hated her, always found her annoying and not funny, but she is hilñarious in this book, with the eyebrows comment
and I loooved when Harry took her by the hand in Slughorn's party it was a cute moment

and I'm hating everything Hermioen does. She's like a different person. Inever thought she would act liek that. I don't like that she goes out with guys she doesn't like.. not only she doesn't like them, but she runs away from them! and only to impress third persons... and talking so stupid with Parvati, it's so anti-Hermione, it puts me on my nerves

I cried like a baby when Mrs Weasley put her hand on her heart and stood upand said "it's Percy", my heart jumped and I imagined the music of "i'm dreaming of a white christmas.. just like th eone i used to know...." and everyone sitting aroudn the table holding the fork and looking at the door, and Mrs Weasley on her feet looking with watery eyes at the door, and the face of Percy blurry at the other side of the frosty window... I think it's the most wonderful moment that's EVER happened in the hp series. I don't even like Percy, but I missed his rude comments and his persona in general, and I couldn't imagine a better scene to get him back. I cried like a baby for 3 or 4 pages.
I hope everything gets solved between the Weasleys and Percy before the end of the book

I didn't like the Ginny/Ron fight. I just don't like when people throw bad stuff at each other. I didn't find it funny.

I agree

I looooved Ginny in the quidditch game throwing herself into Zacharias Smith had me rolling on the floor for hours and when Harry hugged her! OMG! something jumped inside of me. I don't get how Rowling has made me like this couple I never thought this woudl happen to me

when Harry asked Luna how is her term going, and she said quite lonely without the DA, I felt so bad poor Luna. and when she said Ginny was nice the other day defending her from 2 guys, I felt so sorry for Luna. I hope she gets more friends

Remus and Harry HAVE - NEED to spend more time together. Come on!
