I always pictured Tonk fighting firecly against Bellatrix but failing as she was to powerfull and Remus getting ganged up on and flanked so he was fighting 3 death eaters at the same time and his killer whose name escapes me right now gets a lucky shot in as Remus is ment to be very powerful, as we have seen him use wandless magic... And he was the only other Phoenix member other then DD to be left standing in the ministry in OOTP...
That would be so intense to watch. I'm dreading to watch the end, because it means the series are over.

Empire Online is now quoting WB as saying "no decision has been made," in part because no script exists yet. Steve Kloves cannot begin work on the Deathly Hallows script because of the US writer's strike. We'll let you know more once we hear it!

A film source said: "There's so much to fit that the view is the last movie should be in two halves. There is a huge battle when Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, takes on Voldemort that needs to be done really well."
Oh I hope the Writers' Strike ends soon.

It could be amazing and include so much more from the book, if they split it into two.
carry on with the convo guys!

I'm okay either way. But I would definitely love one long movie. Hell, I would love a 6 hour hp movie.

I wonder what JK thinks of the idea?

The more I think about it, with the significance of the number 7, it might be better to leave it as one LONG -- I'm talking at least 3 hours -- movie.

Yeah same thinking.. but then again i hated LOTR's it was soooo long and boring. Just hope they respect DH and really do the fight scenes well

i would love for the movie to be 3 hours long. well, i wouldn't get bored but of course, generally, will it be okay for people to sit through 3 hours watching a Harry Potter movie?

Honestly, I would love a long movie. There are so many things I want to see in DH. But the most important thing is that they have to respect the book.

Also, I don't know any HP fan who wouldn't be happy to watch a 3-hour long movie. Personally, even more wouldn't bother me at all as long as it's well done. After all, it's the last movie and I don't want it to be short.

But maybe that's just me.

Exactly.

I know they can't possibly include everything but I hope they will stay as faithful as possible to the book.

of course we're HP fans so we wouldn't mind the movie to be 3 hours long. but i'm sure others will react and say "3 hours long? that's too much!"

Yeah but, in the end, we're the ones who watch it.

its true. i'd like to believe there are more die-hard HP fans than the general public though.

so far we get the Slughorn Christmas party, of course the tower scene, some scenes between Ron/Lavender/Hermione, and also Harry/Dumbledore with Slughorn. what else?

Perhaps the filmmakers are more concerned with making sure they don't leave any vital information out of the film. In Order, there were subplots that didn't follow Harry's journey so they were omitted. But with DH, there's very little that you could justify leaving out and still tell the story effectively. Who knows though, it very well might be 1 film. We're still waiting on confirmation either way.

Part of doesn't care if the movie DH is in two-parts. I want them to keep as much of the book in.
Then at the same time it would be annoying. Having to wait for the second half of the movie to come out. I'm impatient, and I'm having a hard time right now waiting for pictures for HBP. Plus the fact when the DVD comes out it's gonna cost alot.
