She did. Still not the same as a play.

THE SORTING HAT CEREMONY!!!!

McGonagall! I see you too Al, in the back waiting for your turn.

Audiences queue for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Guardian

Live fan reaction, I'm told there's no spoilers in here. Apparently a live owl escaped backstage!

Wow! That looks great. Pretty much what I expected Hogwarts to be like on stage.

Good luck, Rose.

Not what I expected. But at least it doesn't sound boring.

I refuse to read any reviews right now and I'm glad that some sites (and fans) are not spoiling anything. At least I haven't read anything that can spoil me yet (but I think that will change soon). Also, the reviews are in and they are all (mostly) positive. That's good news.

Interesting tidbit.

Alex Price who plays Draco, also played the son of Helen McCrory(Narcissa)'s character in an episode of Doctor Who.

Mugglenet says everything visually about it is great. The sets, the acting, the magic, the music. Basically the whole atmosphere.

Which royally sucks for us, since all we can do is read the script.

There is a chat about the plot, they basically reveal everything. I don't know what to think, it sounds like some fanfiction, here is the link:

OMG, the Vampires of Venice episode? This is so amazing that he ended up playing Draco for the play (mind blown).

I agree. This is why I'd rather watch than read but unfortunately for most of us, we can only read.

I'm just choosing to see it like one of those Simpsons Halloween specials. Not officially canon, but still a fun ride.

Oh it's totally canon, no doubt about that.

Perhaps people are judging it without having seen the second half, which by the way doesn't happen until tomorrow. Some interesting stuff is going down and like any story, it has a lot of drama where characters are in conflict. Can't have a decent story without conflict. Otherwise, what's the point? Just be assured that whatever is happening will be resolved like all Harry Potter stories.

I like how human it is. I like how it lets us into the adult minds of those characters that still have issues with each other. I like how it reflects life on that not everyone is acting the way you want them to but makes sense because of the situation at hand. I'm eager to see what the second half brings because I think there's an overwhelming response from those that saw it saying it was amazing.
