"Fantasy Adventure. Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. I know some might not have liked it but Harry flirting with that waitress was cute. Checking his breath an everything,LOL!

I liked that part. I think it was nice to show him outside of the wizarding world. And it also was the first moment in HBP that showed sort of what he was giving up in order to help DD with no questions asked. It was another way of saying, he can't be a normal teen, he has to save the world.

Exactly. I never thought of it that way but you're right. Harry has to give up a lot to take on LV and save the Wizarding world.

And DD just up and took him. No warning, nothing. It could also play into Harry being bitter towards him in DH if they choose to show that in the movies. Bitter that DD never told him what was going on and what not. But yeah that's how I saw it, Harry once again missing out on being normal.

Didn't like how they made "Revelio" work on the cloak... The fact is it shouldn't have worked since it's a hallow...

A bit strange but oh well. I loved the wackspurt thing, that was cute. Harry's head was buzzing alright.

My biggest tifft with the movie is that Ginny hid the book in the ROR not harry i cant wait to see how they have harry find ravenclaws diadem now. The Harry Ginny relationship seemed out of no where (even thou i always kinda thought it was at least the book had build up) the H/Hr scene kinda felt flat and the crying on harry shoulder/hug seemed awkward a bit over the top on Emma's part. DD suffering in the cave was almost non existing. Draco's ROR scenes were a lil to repetitive. and the ending... im not even ganna go there .. i change my mind THAT is my biggest tifft with the movie the ending. What annoyed me was the editing it was horrific, the cuts between angles and scenes at times were to brash for my taste.

The movie was visually beautiful the opening was perfection and comedy was dead on and harry and DD leaving the ministry was a great touch. Rupert and Tom owned. My heart went out to Draco in a way i never thought possible. Tom walked the line between hating him and wanting to hug him amazingly, i was completely blown away. Harry on felix OMG Dan killed it.. and i mean that in a good way Slughorn and Harry's talk about his mother broke my heart as did Mrs Weasley face while watching her house burn. I could have sworn Harry said "I trusted you." while chasing Snape even if he didn't say "I" im ganna keep believing he did cuz that just tore me apart considering he let Snape go.

I thought it was good not great but i did enjoy it.

^ Wow, your first paragraph is a bit surprising to me. But hey, to each their own.

My biggest problem with the movie was that they added scenes that were... well not nessisary. I don't understand what the point of the Burrow burning was. I get that times are dangerous but...? It just did not do much for the movie. It sort of conflicted Ginny's character actually. She's supposed to be strong willed and fierce. But the scene makes her look a bit weak and 'damsel in distress'. She ran after him, only to stand there and wait for him to come rescue her. IDK, they could have done it better. I would have rather watched more of a battle at the school. Or maybe more of a tie in with the DD, Malfoy, Potions book SL.

Things I loved...

1. The acting. I think everyone did really well. The trio have grown so much.

2. Tom as Malfoy was amazing. The bathroom scene was okay to me, but the scene on the tower is what really got to me. "I have to do this." GAH. Amazing.

3. Luna

She's still a bright spot for me. Just lovely.

4. The friendship. Between Ron and Harry, and Harry and Hermione was very strong in the film. Though I would have enjoyed a bit more of them as a group. But given the SL it does make sense. The scenes with Harry and Ron were so fun and funny. And in contrast, Harry and Hermione were heartbreakingly wonderful. Dan and Emma nailed it. I thought both of them did a great job, and their connection was amazing.

5. DD was wonderful in this one. They handled his death well IMO.
