"Fantasy Adventure. Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.”

TFTNT!

I JUST found out HBP is only being shown at ONE theater in my current town. My town is pretty small but going at midnight will be crazy if just one theater is showing it GRRR. I envy you more now Kristi Sorry if this is kinda OT, she and I were just talking about it. In the meantime, I do hope we get more new pics I've been loving them lately.

Thanks for the new thread Kristi.

I've caught about 3 different trailers on 3 different channels in the last hour. I think it's safe to say the tv promo push is definitely ON.

I heard WB ruined the cinematography for HBP. Alan Horn felt it was too dark so he added more colors. What a tard.

We'll see. I am sure the test screeners will notice a difference. But I hear in recent tv spots they changed it.

I hope that isn't true! All the test-screeners practically raved about how beautiful the movie looked! I really wanted to see it the way it was meant to be seen.

Apparently he didn't feel it felt like a Harry Potter film.

It's going to be great once it's out. Plus it'll be in the Grand theater which is really nice. Has a balcony and everything.

"The only major run-in we've had since I came on board is regarding the look of this film. We had a fairly major negotiation about its look. Bruno Delbonnel, who was also cinematographer on Amelie, made it look very distinct and different to the previous Potters by using all these monochromatic washes. The studio wanted more colour added to it and we obliged. And actually it's no less artful with the new grade; it looks more beautiful, more inviting. When you're sending 28,000 prints around the world to goodness knows how many cultures, you need a show that pulls you in."

Hmm interesting. It looks very pretty so far in the trailers and all, the most of all of them, so I hope that's the final product and not a changed one.

Me too. Who cares if it is "dark", the story is pretty dark itself.

So that's why the colours seemed to change from one trailer to another.

Guys, David Yates said that over a year ago when that newspaper visited the set. All of the footage we've seen has been because of this change. I'm not complaining. The movie looks great!
