It's like the Malfoys also wished for Dumbledore to die? I feel like they regret being a Death Eater by DH and just waited for Voldemort to be defeated and ran away the minute he was which was cowardly of them I guess because they deserve to be in Azkaban.
But banishing themselves would be ideal. Don't interact from the others and just vanish from everyone's lives. __________________

Let me re-phrase.
 They probably wanted to not be a part of being a Death Eater anymore. In the first scene at the Malfoy Manor in DH, Lucius looks downtrodden like he's so sad. But you can't just stop being a Death Eater as they vowed to support Voldemort and he was still alive and "controlling" them. So his death in DH was really the only exit the Malfoys have to being a Death Eater.__________________

They made the wrong choices by choosing to side with Voldemort and become Death Eaters. On the bright side of things, they are still together as a family but has chosen to disassociate from everyone after Voldemort died.

Yeah Voldemort basically used everyone's fragile & vulnerable state to join his "cause" and promise them power and security. Those were all lies for sure.

The Death Eaters have this false sense of security that together they're all powerful and "protected" by Voldemort. They should know better but sadly the ones that are vulnerable are the targets so they fall prey easily.

They just wanted to belong to a group that will accept them and that's why they join. Most of them have a sad & tragic family background too.
