In a way I do think Dumbledore became that for Harry especially after Sirius died. But then he died as well...

I don't expect Harry to be a great father and I'm glad he wasn't the usual ideal father too just because he is our hero. He's not a great father but it's good that his relationship is that way with Albus so he can learn from it too. He doesn't have a father figure so I think he struggled being a father.

And that too. Harry knows what lies ahead for his son so he's also being overprotective. So in a way I'm glad he's not the perfect father because I don't want Harry to be always perfect.
