Where I live we have at least a few inches of snow on the ground from early December-March nearly every year.

I wish! To get to the nearest "decent" beach, it's a 3 hour drive away. The best one is 45 minutes by plane.

What month do you usually get snow there? Maybe anytime now?

Life is good, had some drama with a couple posters on but it's died down and my old bestie has left me alone for the time being so it's good.

Aww, okay, not that close then.

It usually should have snowed already. Between November and February should be normal, but the weather is messed up anyway. It's very odd.

I guess you'd be expecting it anytime now. There's this whole global climate change happening. We don't get storms here towards the last few months of the year and yet a horrible storm destroyed a part of the country last December (Typhoon Haiyan).

Also, it has been really cold during early morning and most of the nights here but now I kind of miss it because it's getting hot which means that summer is upon us. I love summer but I will miss those cold mornings/nights.

I think they haven't even filmed it yet, oops. So probably it will air in the second part of the year.

I can say the same thing for Arrow. S1 was so-so for me but I stuck to it because I like genres like that and now I'm enjoying S2 so much. I think it's harder to stick around for sitcoms because we have a short patience for a 30-minute show that can't deliver laughs to us.

My co-mod on the Liz board expressed the exact same thoughts about Arrow. She is completely in love with the show thanks to S2.
You have a point about sitcoms - if they fell completely flat you don't even have a plot to get curious about. I do give them a second chance if I like the cast/see chemistry among them, though.

I live on the coast so I have the beach super close, and I'm extremely grateful for that. But enjoying a white Christmas once in a while would be great, too, lol.

The news about Philip Seymour Hoffman passing away left me speechless for half the afternoon the other day. I had NO IDEA that he was struggling with addiction. He seemed a quiet man, and was so young and talented, and with young kids, too.

I haven't been back at the TH board, sorry. I'll drop by this weekend. I'm very busy with temp assignments and of course my 3 permanent boards.

I barely remember what happened in S1 of Arrow expect that bloody good S1 finale. I'm treading carefully on sitcoms lately and usually I wait for reviews first before I really start watching a show. Unless of course most of the cast are my favorite (like with The Crazy Ones), then I'll watch. Unfortunately for that show, I gave up. Even my favorite cast can't save it for me.

Me too, I had no idea he was struggling with addiction so I was shocked. He is such an amazing actor and it's so terrible that we he's gone too soon. My mom even sent me a text that she was so shocked too.
