Same. Even with fanfiction, I picture Dan, Emma & Rupert as their characters. They are really the trio for me.

Same here as well, though to be honest, I picture everyone that portrayed that was in the movies into the stories I read, Book or fanfic.

I didn't start re-reading the series until after the OotP movie came out in 2007. But for the second read of SS/CoS/PoA/GoF, I did see Dan, Rupert, and Emma as Harry, Ron, Hermione. Before that, I didn't really have any faces in mind for them.

It's also easier to imagine when you have faces to go with the characters. I think I read somewhere that once the trio got cast, Jo was influenced a lot by them as she continued to write the later books. Like she'll imagine how Rupert (for example) will be acting out a particular Ron scene.

It's definitely the same for me too, I picture these three always when I'm reading the books. I'm so glad they always were able to keep the same cast throughout all the films.

Yeah, they have to negotiate with them big time. Jo would also play a big role in convincing them all to stay and honestly, they do owe it to her and the franchise cause it launched their careers.

Definitely. Their friendship and the love of friends & family is really what HP is all about (more than the ships, imo). Oh and of course that good will always prevail over evil.

That trip to Hogwarts at the Hogwarts Express where Harry met Ron & Hermione was definitely the start of a very looooong friendship.
