The first to see him was Helga; she was on the borders of the castle, taking her usual walk around the grounds to clear her mind when the faint gallop of hooves could be heard. The Founders: Helga Hufflepuff Helga Hufflepuff founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together with Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin and Rowena Ravenclaw. She was the one that brought all abandoned and mistreated house-elves to work there and the one that set up the kitchen, the greenhouse and most of the outside area. She was always so bright and easy going, always kind to everyone, even her fellow founders. Despire Salazar’s coldness, Godric’s arrogance and Rowena’s seriousness she always managed to make them smile, always making them relax. And when they started teaching, after years of building up their refuge, she quickly became a favorite teacher. She taught charms and history, teaching them whatever she knew, no matter what the class was really. She had a real nack for food as well, threating her students and fellow founders everyday with something new she’d come up with with the help of her house-elves. When they started welcoming other witches and wizards to teach at the school Helga met Arthur Yeardley, who came to teach herbology, and the two soon fell in love. They both shared the same easy going kindness and a love for nature and food. The two soon married and lived together at Hogwarts where they also raised their two children. But after giving birth to her second child Helga’s body grew tired and she often became bedrested as her body was starting to give up even at such a young age. But she nor her body gave up. She continued to teach at the school for several years, working around her weakness, and then later died of old age together with her husband.
