Me too. I don't like crowds and too many people. During Easter break here, most of our beaches are full so I tend to avoid beaches here during that week.

It's such a disaster really. Since most of the malls are closed for Easter break, then those of us who live in the city either go to the province or the beach. Normally for Easter break I just stay in because the city is at a standstill and less traffic during this time.

Over there? Here it's closed for Good Friday, half day on Maundy Thursday and Black Saturday. Opens again Easter Sunday. So if you live in the city, it's BORING during Easter break and most people are away in the province or out of the country at that time over here.
 Even our local channels don't show regular programming so we depend on cable or streaming sites to pass the time.__________________

That's because we're a Catholic country so "Passover week" as we call it is strictly observed. And anyway, it's a great excuse to just stay at home or go to the province or to the nearest beach. If you need to buy something on Good Friday, you'd have to wait the next day to buy it because all malls are closed.
Some food establishments (that aren't at malls) are open and smaller establishments are open but major malls (the big ones) are all closed. Manila is like a ghost town during Passover week because everyone seems to be gone. __________________
