Yes, I really love her eyes..

LOL. I always laugh at how Fleur's written in the books. Like our thread title. It means her French accent is very thick. :D

I gonna read when it comes to her part in the books.. But really? I didn't know that..

L i N d $ @ y 12-13-2019 10:30 PM

Yeah her lines are written in a way that it's perceived that her accent is thick.

fly me to the moon 12-14-2019 11:44 AM

Oh man..

In the movie, which I've forgotten, I think Fleur's accent wasn't as thick though that's probably because of Clemence. :look:

fly me to the moon 12-15-2019 01:11 PM

Yeah, it wasn't, but you can able to hear her accent, but not too thick or stronger..

I think they purposely made the French accent understandable since HP will be watched by an international audience but in the book, Fleur's accent is supposed to be really thick.

fly me to the moon 12-16-2019 08:06 AM

Ahh, that made sense even tho at least they can change little bit up.. But I have no problem since I know some fans always do same exact from the book to movies..

It's kind of like with David Tennant in Doctor Who. He's Scottish so he has to do the British accent to play the role because Doctor Who has an international fanbase.

Ah, I didn't know that..

Also the HP cast too. Dan, Emma & Rupert all have very understandable British accents too. They can't cast someone who has a thick British accent that most people won't understand.
