Well they cut out the brother/sister fight, but maybe dating the wrong guy will be seen as a flaw

LOL, I don't know maybe they'll show her being reckless or something. One could certainly even take the part where she chases after Harry as reckless aka a flaw. The HP mvies haven't been very concerned with that aspect in all the films so far though

That stunt she pulled at the Burrow was pretty reckless. I believe she got herself disarmed...but she was later seen fighting with her wand.

That can be seen as her flaw.

She's reckless, stubborn and capable of doing something that can put herself in danger. Of course in positive light, she's brave and a take-charge person. I guess when it comes to Ginny, we can't really draw a clear line between her flaws and virtues.

I think it depends how you view it really - with a lot of characters, their flaws can be seen as virtues or vice versa depending on the situation.

And of course depends on whether you like the character or not.

I think it is good if we can see both side of a character, their virtue as well as their flaw.

It's funny, it says it's a new interview in Movie Magic, but it's not.

That interview dates back to at least OotP era, maybe earlier for some of the answers. I remember some of them specifically from other interviews. But the pictures they chose to feature of her were nice.

I don't think we'll really see Ginny's flaws in the movie, or at least not to the same extent as in the book, because they never show anyone's flaws (except Ron's...

). Harry isn't as reckless as he is in the book. Hermione doesn't nag the boys the way she does in the books. And she's not as insecure. Luna isn't as spacey. While she was fairly in character in OOTP, they obviously played up her wisdom, and downplayed her weirdness. So while I think they'll show Ginny being fiesty, I don't think we'll see her being as hot-tempered and stubborn as she is in the book.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be too muvh of a concern for the movie makers at all so eh.

I expect they made Arnold pink (or maybe light lavender) so that his face would show up more. Also so HE would show up more - particularly as Ginny is wearing something dark.

I didn’t know Ginny was going to be all over this movie, but like you I’m happy also. Her and Yates already discuss her part in DH, she seemed pretty excited, so I think she has a nice size role to play.

Me too, so glad that’s in the movie, and I can’t wait to see them fight back to back we only saw a little in the sneak peek.

Totally agree. though they don't picture them as perfect either. Maybe I'm biased but I think all charcters in the movie, you know they're not perfect even if they just show you their good side...or bad side.
