Ron is a member of the Weasley Family, a pure blood family, whom reside in "The Burrow" outside Ottery St. Catchpole. Along with Harry and Hermione, he is a member of the Gryffindor house. He's a comical character often called upon to lighten the mood but is immensely loyal to Harry. He is sarcastic, passionate, hot-headed and often wears his heart on his sleeve.

Once upon a time, a boy named Harry Potter arrived at the London Train station looking for Platform 9 3/4. Of course, to the naked muggle eye, there was no Platform 9 3/4 and so he had to rely on a bunch of red headed strangers to get him where he needed to go. Then, later, while sitting in his compartment, the youngest boy of the red-headed strangers stumbled in and asked if he could sit there. And thus a glowing friendship began....

**THEIR JOURNEY**

Philosopher's Stone
Once upon a time, a young boy named Harry Potter arrived at the London Train station looking for Platform 9 3/4. Of course, to the naked muggle eye, there was no Platform 9 3/4 to see and so by a stroke of luck he managed to rely on a bunch of red headed strangers to get him to where he needed to be. Then, later, while sitting in alone his compartment, the youngest boy of the red-headed family stumbled in and asked Harry if he could perhaps find a seat there, his name was Ron Weasley. - And thus after a bout of spells, jokes and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor beans, the two young wizards strike up a bond. Harry finds the new boy funny, and easy to be around with. He was normal, and for the first time Harry had a friend. In fact, when another new pupil, named Draco Malfoy, offered to advise Harry around the new school, and in turn insulted the redheaded boy - he stood up for Ron and refused the new student's offer. And from then on, it became clear that nothing could come in between these two. Whether they were dealing with Quidditch practices, or suffering through horrid potions lessons, or retrieving a priceless stone from a vicious three-headed dog...these two would remain side by side through thick and thin.

Chamber of Secrets
After a horrendous summer holiday at his aunt and uncle's house, Harry Potter begins to believe that his exciting first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had all been a dream. He hasn't been allowed to talk with his friends, he's refused access to any of his school books, and the window outside his room had been sealed shut from any outside contact. But then one night, to his rescue come Ron Weasley with his older twin brothers Fred and George by his side. They take Harry away from his miserable home at the Dursley's - to the fury of his aunt and uncle - and bring him to their house....in a flying car. Where Harry, for the first time gets to experience the day in the life of a normal Wizarding family. He begins to grow quite fond of the Weasleys. Ron's brothers are funny, his Mum is really nice, his father is obsessed with Muggles, and his little sister likes him..quite a bit actually. As it happened, his summer had turned out to be much more pleasant then he had ever expected. Then at the start of the school term Harry joins the Weasleys and heads to London King's Cross railway station to catch the Hogwarts Express for his first day back at school. Harry and Ron are the last to try to enter Platform 9¾, but the wall between platforms 9 and 10 wouldn't let them through. The solution? Nicking the oh so convenient flying car standing right outside and following the train to Hogwarts. How smart. Unfortunately the two mischievous boys had overlooked the killer "Whomping Willow" standing in the courtyard. Upon arriving, they crash into the tree, which immediately attacks, damaging the car and breaking Ron's wand. The battered car retreats into the Forbidden Forest. But, well - at least they made it.

Eventually however they learned that this wasn't going to be any ordinary year at Hogwarts. Harry finds out that the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is obsessed with him. He learns that he can now talk to snakes, and he begins to hear a voice that whispers about its desire to kill but is seemingly inaudible to others, and nobody will tell him what or where this supposed "Chamber of Secrets" is. Meanwhile, random students, professors, cats and even ghosts are all dropping like flies by a mysterious attacker within school walls, even a close friend of his and Ron's named Hermione Granger has been petrified. Many are even beginning to believe that the attacker is Harry himself. But it all seems to come to a head when they learn that Ron's little sister, a mere first year named Ginny, has been taken into the Chamber. Harry and Ron make the decision to rescue her at all costs and after discovering the secret behind what Harry had been listening to all those months at school, and figuring out where the entrance to the Chamber was, they force professor Lockhart to go down with them down to save Ginny. The two march Lockhart to the toilet and when Harry gives the order "Open!" in Parseltongue (his snake speech), the sink moves aside to reveal a passage. Ron stays to look after Lockhart while Harry moves forward and looks for Ginny. After saving Ginny and destroying the spirit of Tom Marvolo Riddle - the true attacker for all those horrific months - with the help of the Gryffindor sword and Fawkes, the magical phoenix in Dumbledore's office, Harry returns to Ron and the two go back up to explain their victory. Another year, another adventure.
