I haven't read up much about wands but I do wonder how long it takes for the wand to be loyal to it's master. Once you purchase the wand, do you need to do spells more often so it would know you're the owner?

Plus can it be gave the wards if that person died?

Ah you're asking what happens to wands when a person dies? I'm not sure but I think a relative or friend can use it though it will take time getting used to/be loyal to it's new owner.

I think that's the best actually unless of course you lose your wand. Remember in DH when Ron was able to get some of the wands of the Snatchers? Harry wasn't used to it and it wasn't 'behaving' properly when he used it. This scene:

So it's scary to lose a wand because it's either you have to just get some stray wands and then get used to it again or purchase one.
