Grindelwald is described to have blonde hair.

He also had an eye condition called heterochromia:

I wonder too if we'll even get a backstory of Grindelwald as a child or as a teenager. Maybe just to explain his eye condition and how he became friends with Albus.

I'd prefer that if they want more backstories for the movie which can take time. They can do some backstories like what they did for part 2 but there shouldn't be too much of it. Plus we still have 3 movies to go so there's enough time to tell the rest of the backstory.
