I'm actually glad that I read that he will be back because I felt that he was dead after watching the movie.

But of course Ezra is one of the best things about the movie. He's a Potterhead and I am glad he got cast as Credence. You can feel how troubled he is and how he's just basically obeying Graves who used him.
