Like the other teachers? McGonagall or Hagrid, for example? I think Dumbledore really only involved Snape because he knows he's up for it because of his love for Lily so he knows that he'll protect Harry, even if he was James' son.

While I think both McGonagall and Hagrid will also protect Harry, they weren't Death Eaters and Snape was. So in a way, Snape was a "double agent", which greatly helped them to protect Harry.
