Who are we?
We are The Chang Gang or the Cho Charmers. The name Cho Charmers, came from Rupert Grint's quote on the person who's going to play Cho Chang.
Rupert's exact quote was:

"I don't know who's playing Cho Chang
but I'm sure she'll be Cho-charming ha ha!!!!"

This is also the Seekers' thread, supporters of the couple Harry/Cho.

So, yes, we finally know the actress who will be playing Cho Chang in the Harry Potter movies. Her name is Katie Leung, she is 16 and Scottish.

Thank you for opening the new thread Alex. I did'nt realise we only had 5 Cho charmers. Hopefully we'll get a few more in once GOF comes out!

Now I don't know if we've ever discussed this but has anyone read any H/C fanfics? I don't read much of it at all..but if you know of any good ones..rec me!

by the way, on Sunday I finished the order of the phoenix for the 3rd time.. can Harry and Cho be cuter? [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img] at the end, when they meet again in the train she blushes, I didn't remember that, she still loves him, at least she likes him... and I "discovered" another thing. I don't know why I thought that at the end of the book Harry didn't like Cho anymore, because when Ron asked about their relationship the narrator says that Harry didn't feel anything at the sight of Cho with Michael... BUT! how come I didn't realise before? I had read it twice, I should remember those things and not made them in my mind [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I had this argument with my sister, she says that Harry is mad at Cho and he does not like her anymore, but I say he likes her but his heart is completely broken and he can't feel anythign, he only thinks about Sirius. Harry loves Hagrid, however, when he goes to visit him he feels like running away and he wants to be alone and for a second Harry feels that he hates everybody, but it's just because he is completely torn and Sirius is too important for him to spend his time caring about Cho or the rest.
And finally with my arguments my sister is almost convinced and she thinks that Harry stills like Cho, I can be very convincing [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I don't like fanfic very much, my sister is obsessed with them, she has even written 12! and all of them have been published in webpages. I've read some fanfics, and all of them were Draco/Ginny and only 1 was Harry/Cho, but this last one has been never finished because the author said she didn't have inspiration anymore [img]smilies/goof.gif[/img] It was cute, I can't remember if it was in English or Spanish.
And as I said, the rest were all Draco and Ginny, I like this couple, I know this will NEVER happen (I know people who believe it will [img]smilies/pout.gif[/img] ) but I like the storyline.

I'll tell you the link if I ever read something of Harry/Cho that is good.

I loved reading the way Harry's heart kept flipping everytime he saw Cho.

I think Harry will come back to Cho maybe not as a boyfriend but they will be friends I know it! There was just too much building up from book 3 - 5 too suddenly loose her like that. I definately think the fact that Sirius has died will be something that will bring him back to Cho.

Why? well Cho was distraught in OOTP after the death of Cedric. She had no one to talk to and no one to listen to. She sought out Harry and probably found herself actually having feelings for him so it complicated it a lot.

And now I think Harry will be in the same position.. either he will want someone to talk about it and seek her out. Or she will be the one to come and help him!

if not that.. she's one of the few from Dumbledore's Army who can make a patronus (hers is the swan) ... so Harry's going to need her in one way or another.

I like that their relationship is complicated!

yes! I was telling this to my sister the other day, when Joey and Pacey (for example) fight or argue or whatever, everyone says "How cute! they fight but they are meant to be" but when Harry and Cho fight, then she has to be a b*tch and he is the hero.. for me there are no heroes here, well, yes, both are heroes, and they want each other although their broken heart doesn't allow them to realise yet

wow! do you remeber that I todl you I read only 1 fanfic of Harry and Cho but the author said she was inspirationless and she would not finish it?
Right now I've gone to the fanfic page (which it's been ages since the last time I went) and guess what, the author has added 2 more chapter! wow, I don't know if it is finished or what.. but I'll read it again entirely and I'll tell you what I think [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

And you're right. Cho comes across as nasty in the fights she has with Harry but I have to say that Harry was just as bad at the way he handled things with her. I mean who talks about another girl on your Valentines date? that's just insensitive!

yes, I think that Harry was very unsensitive too, and of course if you like a boy and you see him 24/7 with a girl, you can't help but wonder if they are something more than friends, I understand what Cho was feeling about that, and in your Valentines day you say you have a date with this so-called friend, how is Cho supposed to feel about it? I when Cho started to scream and all that, Harry should have been braver, I mean.. not just stay there shocked and letting her think what it's not, he should have at least screamed "Shut up Cho and listen to me!" and explain her everything, but he just let her believe a lie...

Some people say that they hate Cho because she is histerical, crying all day, etc etc... but I always say "If she was so unbeareable Cedric wouldn't have dated her for over a year!", I think Cho began being so unbalanced emotionaly with Cedric's death, who can blame her?
If Cedric was a superficial guy, of course he would have dated Cho just because she is pretty. But in the 4rth book we get to know Cedric better, he is a super nice guy, he helps Harry in return, he does not seem to be selfish, and I could go on with good adjectives for him.. so he was NOT with Cho just because she is pretty, I believe he loved her and she was/is very nice, she is just passing through the toughest moment of her life.

yesterday night I went to sleep late cause I was reading that fanfic of Harry and Cho that I told you, I'm only in the 5th chapter, but I like it a lot, so I won't wait until I finish, I give you the link now it is here because I really like it by now... I noticed that it has a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, I thought the author was not English.. and voil�! of course she is not English, what a surprise that she is Spanish [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] so excuse her the mistakes [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I know! Harry should have said something like "Listen Cho, I'm not interested in Hermione. I like you!" Both of them should have been direct about their feelings (I know in real life that's not so easy) but it surely would have sorted out a few things.

I know. I hate that because..well would'nt you be if your boyfriend was killed so tragically? And the fact that made it worse is that she probably did'nt have anyone to talk to about it. I see her as someone who while still having so many friends was in fact very much alone. Sudden death/murder of a loved one, is'nt something you usually have to worry about.

I started reading that H/C fic. I think I got to about the third chapter. Good so far! Her english is really good. I wish I was bilingual! I'm only fluent in English.

absolutely, I see her very lonely too. When the narrator descrices how Harry sees Cho, he/she always says "Cho was sorrounded (sp?) by giggling girls" but Cho does not seem to be giggling, so I see her kind of lost in the crowd. And as you once said, before Cedric's death she was always with friends, but in book 5 she is only with Marietta, so I guess all her friends lost contact with her, maybe because Cho was always upset and her friends didn't want to worry about a depressed friend.
