Yeah, that's why I feel like Leta has all these bottled up emotions that she can't really unload to anyone but just repress her feelings which is unhealthy.

Maybe psychotherapy wasn't popular in wizard culture of the 20ies?

Would be interesting to watch though, the therapist could actually use magic to make you feel better.

^ Actually, I took psychology and during that time, they don't have all the resources, but very limited..

Yeah I can't imagine any therapists during that time? And maybe there's also not a lot of people who have mental health issues back then compared to these days?

Yeah since there wasn't lot of resource until late 90s when they have more resources to understand on mental health and others..

Plus the world is just more problematic and stressful now than it was before. Not to belittle what Leta was going through but just that she can receive more help nowadays than before and especially during that time. So she bottled up all her feelings inside which isn't healthy.

Which is really sad because I'm sure Theseus can help her with that but she probably didn't want to burden him with her problems.

I'm also not saying it's her fault but if only she had talked to someone about her problems just to ease her burden.

Definitely. It's just really heartbreaking seeing someone you love die like that so I feel for Theseus & (to a different extent) Newt.

Yeah, that's true.. even tho I always wonder what it was like for him having a "famous" brother since I know that Theseus went to war or something like that..

Good observation. They haven't really touched on the backstory of the brothers yet and that's why we need it. I really was expecting to see Theseus in the Hogwarts flashback but we didn't get him there. Only Newt & Leta.

Also did Newt & Leta have a falling out? It kinda seems that way but it wasn't really explained in the movie.

I think that once they finish school, they went apart.. I don't think that they have falling out.. But again, I gonna watch part 2..
