I can see Neville being pretty involved in the lives of Harry and Ginny's children.

Yes, Neville is good friends with them (so is Luna). And since he's a Herbology professor, I bet his favorite students are the Potters & Weasleys too.

I'm sure they are his favorite students, but he doesn't show it in front of others.

Yeah, he'd get accused of favoritism by the other students. I can imagine Hugo though being like his dad in class, probably copying off Lily because Rose will give him an earful.

I can see that happening. Do you think Neville would catch the next gen kids cheating or copying off the homework of their cousins, like Hugo and Lily as you said? Do you think he would give them a lecture or tell their parents? I'm not sure if Albus or Lily is his god-child, but he probably subtly gives them special treatment/favoritism.

Neville will know but he won't tell them flat out or call them out on it. I think he may tell both Ron & Hermione but also feel like he shouldn't as he is good friends with the parents. What do you think Neville will do when this happens?

I think Neville would ask whoever he caught to stay behind so he could talk to them. Not to give them a lecture (because he is cool Uncle Neville after all) but just to set them straight. If he caught them again, then he would tell their parents.
