But I tried Really small One-Shot, I'm thinking about expanding it later, but I donno  here it is:~ Snape could see nothing but green jets of light among the darkness. It was a chaotic war, bodies falling by his side, lifeless and pale. And no sign of her. He began to search the area, surrounded by cries of anguish. He couldn't believe what was going on. The war had started with no warning, and now, only a few hours later, he could already predict the ending. They were going to lose. He tripped over something, his hand letting go of his wand. Pulling himself up, Snape looked down at the body underneath him. Dumbledore had bruises all over his face, and his robes were burnt. Snape knew in that moment that there was no hope. Harry and his friends were the first ones to die, foolishly trying to battle with Lucius Malfoy. And Snape knew of the prophecy, he knew no one but Harry could kill Lord Voldermort. But still they kept fighting. He knew it would come down to this. He couldn't keep fighting for both sides forever. The moment the war began, and not a minute earlier, was when he decided he was going to fight with Dumbledore. And in that moment he knew he would have to face her, the woman he had wanted to meet again after so many years. He had to see her before the end. He had to tell her all the things he was never able to when they went to school together, all the words stuck in his throath for years that was dying to get out. He wanted to say goodbye. Snape saw Lucius from a distance, and heard his laughter echoing. Following his wand's direction, Snape realized why he was so happy. Remus Lupin had just been killed. Snape ran past him, ducking jets of light. And he saw her. Bellatrix was looking down, still as stone. All Snape could see was her dark, long hair, covering her thin face. She was staring at Tonks, who laid dead at her feet. He approached her carefully, suddenly realizing he had left his wand behind. She looked up, startled, pointing her wand at him. Snape didn't move. He couldn't think. All the things he wanted to say to her were forgotten by the mere sight of her. ''She's still beautiful.'' He thought, his mind blocking all noise around them. Bellatrix wasn't moving either. All cruelness seemed to have left her body for a moment. She eyed Snape carefully, like she was making sure it was really him. He got closer, slowly. Her wand was still pointed at his chest, until it was the only thing separating them. Bellatrix opened her mouth but no sound came out of it. She closed it again. ''Bella...'' Snape whispered, a small smile forming on his lips. She stared into his eyes, her expression unreadable. Suddenly everything he wanted to tell her came back to him. He opened his mouth to speak, but he sensed Bellatrix had something to say. He waited, watching her mouth open again. ''Avada Kedavra!'' ~The End~ __________________ Tar ღ icon | |||
