| So, Dan was on Jimmy Kimmel last week and I went down to see him. Charming boy when the camera is on, but when it's off he's a complete arse. But I don't think its his fault he is an arse. I think the people that surround him make him one. At one point, he had to get "permission" from one of his bodyguards to look up and "acknowledge" the girl he was signing an autograph for.  I mean, I've met a lot of celebs (I do live in LA ) and I've never seen anyone that controlled. I've heard some horrible stories about the lengths his parents go to keep him safe, but honestly, the man is 18 now!From what I've heard from people who have met Emma and Rupert, Emma has always been excellent when it comes to her fans, and Rupert has recently come out of his shell. | I've heard stories like that before about Dan. I think it was during the filming for PoA that a bunch of fans were waiting for Dan to come out of his trailer and sign a few autographs. instead his Dad comes out, grabs a few photos and returns from the trailer with Dan's signature on them... Not quite the same effect as actually haveing to MEET the star you're about to get an autograph from. Don't get me wrong i know Dan has a lot of respect for his fans and such but the parents seem to have to strong a grip on him. I know it makes sense when he was younger, but he's practically an adult now. __________________ I could never let Hermione go-she is my hero!
