That poster (thanks Tracy!) looks like one of those ads in the movie listings section of a newspaper, so it (or some variation) might show up in your respective newspapers soon. It's a stunningly beautiful ad. Man, they're both gorgeous. I just love the placement of Harry and Hermione and the corner pic. Very significant, wouldn't you say?

Hey everyone, I'm sure you've seen the new Dan/Emma thread, I just visited there, great pics! Those two are so cute...I posted a reminder that they are minors and everyone needs to be good! (Okay, I'm showing my age which is over 21!) But it's a great thread.

I'm really all about Harry and Hermione but no one but Dan and Emma could play those parts on the big screen. I posted on the DanFan thread about a nice mag called Movie Magic that had a great deal of HP and especially POA. It had one little article about the threesome and how very difficult it would be to imagine any other actors playing the roles now. ITA!!! I just hope it all works out that they continue on...I can understand why the producers might not want to contract them at this point because it takes so long to make the movies but I have a feeling that they could keep on, that's what makeup and costume is all about! I guess it will depend a lot on Dan, Emma, and Rupert but if I were them I'd definitely stay in, that's a lot of money for teens to be making and they'll probably be finished by the time they are 20. Why worry about typecasting when you're a teen? Lots of actors don't hit their stride until they are older. Anyway, I can't imagine anyone else playing Harry or Hermione!!

I liked your post, Time Cannot Erase, about that excerpt from POU. I mentioned in a post on the last thread about the comparison between James and Lily and Harry and Hermione, you see it's just meant to be! I love that fanfic, I'm so glad you guys mentioned that on the Auror thread because it is absolutely the best Auror fic one could read. I'm sure they're are many more to read, I've just got to find the time! Give me some ideas, okay?

hammergal- i totally and completely agree. no one else could play harry, hermione or ron. if they decided to change actors, i would feel so betrayed. i would feel almost...raped. i know that's a really violent reaction to it, but that's how i would feel. like they ripped away the best people for these roles and who made me care so much more for these people and really transformed into their characters and replaced them with idiots. if dan, rupert or emma don't want to do it anymore, just stop the series. it'd be better than ruining it. i would have a huge problem with changing draco too.

i thought exactly the same thing last night. if they were going to have to change any of the trio, they'd be better to stop the series. not only do i think this, as a fan, they'd be likely to lose money from the movie anyway.
