..okay so why are we off topic now? I think we were debating if Dan and Emma were kissing (I don't think so, that'd be big news and that doesn't look like the evil kiss scene per say) and that does involve Harry/Hermione in a way. I know we're not the only ones to go OT.

I so agree with this.. I totally understand R/Hr, cos for me it's either R/Hr or H/Hr cos both ships has a strong foundation since the start. What I really don't understand is H/G.. and I think it's usually the H/G shippers who picks on us. insecure much?

side note: I'm not hating on all the H/G shippers.. just those who try to sabotage H/Hr

heaven forbid we talk about those who call us delusional. but seriously, I wasn't putting that on HG either I know all kinds of people who believe that about us. I've been called that by Sidekicks, Leos, those who ship neither, those who ship both, offline friends etc. I didn't post any specifics because that would've been pinpointing on my part. As for the ships, I believe most of what I said was true, Harmony being a big ship as Leos shouldn't be looked at as an insult. I started shipping after GoF came out and the main ships were Sidekicks and Harmony and then Draco/Hermione, etc. Leos wasn't that big back them atleast where I was posting. That isn't a bad thing either. Hmm...I think that is all I posted that could've been looked at badly

Just sucks we can't talk about our own mistreatment from time to time

H/Hr shippers get hated on more than any other ship in this fandom, more than say Draco/Hermione shippers even, and that ship is way more UC than ours. Identifying yourself as an H/Hr shipper on a general HP site is tantamount to suicide, because the nasty jibes come from every direction almost instantly. I'm not sure why they hate us so much, all I can think of is that deep down it's insecurity and they DID feel threatened by our ship, so they cover it up with intense hostility. I think this could be the case even more after JKR admitted that it could have gone H/Hr, that just gives weight to their fears, stupid really give that their ship(s) are already canon.

Exactly my thoughts. I know some ships in other fandoms that, like Harmony, have never really been romantically explored in canon, such as Lucas/Haley and Brooke/Nathan from OTH. Those ships have got quite a strong fanbase like ours especially LH in Season 1, yet they don't get as much crap as we do from other shippers. From what I've seen so far, we're like the only ship fanon ship out there (HP and other fandoms) that get's hated on constantly.

I think the thing that bothers me most is that, not just here but at other forums... it's ok for people in other shipper threads to put our couple down or make fun of us but the second we say the slightest negative thing about any other couple, we get in trouble. So it just upsets me that not only do we have to deal with being hated on and thought of as "delusional" but we have to deal with the fact that we we're not even allowed to share our opinions on other couples!

It's so twisted and I don't understand it.

Anyway, as far as the photo goes, they're just talking really close to each other, their heads are no where near close enough to be kissing... besides the fact that they're surrounded by a group of people and would not be doing that in front of anyone, especially after trying so hard to avoid rumors.

Hey, everyone! I completely agree. With any other fanbase, whereas Twilight (Lord..), Lost, oh, I don't know..anything else--there is NEVER as much hostility as there is with Harry Potter. It's ridiculous, and I think it dates back before The Interview (where JKR fueled the hatred), but it needs to stop. We can like what we like.

yes, I guess you are right about the photo of D/E. It seem like it, they are kissing but still it is good because D/E are really close to each other, it is fine with me.

H/hr is only fanon or canon ship that I love..and I don't really care what everyone said about it. H/hr still the best couple in fictional world and in the real one..

It is amazing to me that there are more of h/hr 'image' coming out from this movie, then any other hp movie in past.. Well that is my impression.
