A long, long time ago there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He had this devastatingly tragic life, all made better by a loyal and trusting rapport he had with his best friend Hermione Granger. Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

A Hermione without a Harry is no Hermione. That is, she wouldn't be the heroine that we KNOW she is. Harry was born a hero, but if he were to have a hero(ine) in his life, it would be (besides Dumbledore and his parents, of course) Hermione.

Oh guys, I was on Veritaserum looking through old Movie 5 news. It seems that, before David Yates was chosen as director, WB had asked Mira Nair and Jean-Pierre Jeunet to be a director. Both turned it down. *sob*

Mira Nair did Monsoon Wedding and Salaam Bombay, which, if I'm not mistaken, were very much Bollywood-flavoured movies.
Jean-Pierre Jeunet did the incomparable Amelie.
