A long, long time ago there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He had this devastatingly tragic life, all made better by a loyal and trusting rapport he had with his best friend Hermione Granger. Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

But I did just get a DVD writer in my computer, which means I'll be screencapping when I get home!

Oh yeah I forgot, I made a H/Hr DVD and I love it! It has my fave H/Hr fanart (Rain) as the menu background, and I put the GOF trailer and a couple of H/Hr fanmade videos I had downloaded. Heee.

School is out for me...finally! I luckily didn't have to take any finals.

As for topic discussions, I can't think of many because school wore me out. We could always take a look back at the romantic imagery surrounding our favorite couple though. There are many examples...especially the part I just read in GoF. I was reading about the lake scene a couple of days ago, and just thought it was unbelievably cute how they went walking around the lake. It sounds like something a couple would do! (*Hint JKR!*)

I believe that we Pumpkineers are a silent majority. That is, although in REALITY more HP fans tend to tean towards the Pumpkin Pie, the Good Shippers are just more vocal.

Also, two of the major HP fansites (Mugglenet and HP Lexicon) have stated a possible Ron-Hermione romance in their character biographies of Hermione. Granted, both of these websites contain Harry-Hermione essays (the excellent Linsenmeyer essay, for one), but it's clear that the webmasters/mistresses slightly (or blatantly) favor the Good Ship. Considering the amount of fans that pour into Mugglenet and the Lexicon on a daily basis, all of them are statistically likely to be exposed to the influence of the Good Ship. Also, given that the webmasters/mistresses are generally (not entirely) experts on the HP canon, there are people out there who are willing to take their word for it that Ron-Hermione may happen, and thus they board the Good Ship.

Reality may show the Harmony to be the majority, but statistics shows the Heron to be the majority. Statistics depend on a test group, but test groups can be fallible because not everyone is included, and because of the outspokenness of the Good Shippers, the test groups are dominated by Good Shippers.

That's what I think, anyways.

Allow me to say something that I held for too long: Beholder, I absolutely love your posts! I might not agree usually, but they're always full of good arguments and it's very pleasant to read them.

Truth be told, this thread has many intelligent posters and it's quite fun to lurk here once in a while. I might not agree with your point of view, but I must say that since I started to post on this board and read through these threads, I learned to respect (and understand) much more the H/Hr shippers.
