A long, long time ago there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He had this devastatingly tragic life, all made better by a loyal and trusting rapport he had with his best friend Hermione Granger. Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

Oh, and you know how some people thought Ginny's character was completely transformed between GoF and OotP? I used to think that wasn't true, that she really did just change and Harry just didn't get to see it happen...but then I found this LJ essay-type entry that pulled out quotes from GoF and compared it to OotP, and it totally convinced me that Ginny was transmutated into someone else between Books 4 and 5. If you're curious, there's a link to it in my most recent post on my LJ, and you can find the link to that in my sig. It's by a non-H/Hr shipper.
